What is a Language Champion?
A volunteer from the world of work who can support and inspire our students to continue studying languages. This academic year, we’re asking Language Champions to commit to one in-person event in our Hounslow Hub. Later, as we grow in 2024, there will be a range of online and in-person ways to support.
How can I support?
Career events
Talk to our students about what it was like to study languages, your career, your experience of travel, and why you think languages are important.
Conversation Practice
Meet our students and do some speaking practice with them - in school or at an event.
Work experience
Could you host some of our A-level students at your place of work? A chance to broaden the horizons of some of the brightest young linguists around!
Funding or Trips
We are always looking for funds or partners to support our students to travel and learn languages in an authentic context - in the UK or abroad.
