Global Languages Ambassador Award

If you are a 16 year old who has chosen to dedicate yourself to language learning, our Global Languages Ambassador Award recognises the challenge you have set for yourself, and will support you to success in your studies, and your career.

The award consists of a calendar of activities for students in the local hub who are studying for A-levels in modern languages. Students who complete the Award together will feel connected to each other, and special for having chosen a language. The friendships they form will create a social norm for continuing with language study. They will be proud of being part of the hub and rewarded for choosing to study a language.

Completing the Award

The Award is given to students who complete a course of seven learning modules, each with pre-reading, workshops, space for reflection, and expert input.

After completing the course, across the A-level course students will be able to answer the question:

How do languages prepare me for being a global ambassador in the future?
